New: become a wine grower and winemaker in Hasselt

From September 2027 a full viticulture course starts in Hasselt. Limburg now has more than sixty professional vineyards.

The climate is changing, and Limburg is changing with it. Where apples and pears used to grow, there is now chardonnay and pinot noir. Demand for skilled wine growers rises every year.

Hands-on in the vineyard

Six Saturdays a year you are in the vineyard: pruning in winter, harvesting in autumn. The theory is taught in the evening in Hasselt.
